can I mix between shimano and sram ?

I am thinking to have LX dual control levers + LX brakes + X7 FD + X9 LD ?!

is this a workable solution ?

No good. They have different cable pull ratios.

Specifically, it's the rear derailleur that's a problem. The front will work fine. But for the rear, if you're going to use a shimano shifter, then you need a shimano derailleur.
