Frame rub...
My cables are eating away the paint/finish on the frame/fork/swingarm. I bought Lizard Skins carbon patches & they wouldn't stick! I prepped the surface with the provided cleaner.
What should I do that would actually work?

I use electrical tape. Does the job. I need a black colour though so it blends in with my frame.

They work much better if you heat them up with a hair dryer before applying. If you have already tried them once they are pretty much junk now though. It has to be done right the first time.

It was 90 degrees outside when I attempted to stick them on & the bike was in the sun for an hour prior.
