Ewwwwww. I know how disgusting my shorts get, wouldn't want to wear anyone elses, even if they had only one ride on them.

Heeeeelllllllllll Nooooooooo!!! Who knows what the person who previously wore them had going on between their legs. You could get them if you want to chance inviting a bunch of tiny new pets into the house.

Because there are some things you just can't do, no matter how good a deal you get.

Not a chance. I don't like the idea of wearing someone else's shorts even if they have been washed.

I'm not even all that keen on the idea of having to be fitted for our team clothes this year. They send around a team kit that has been tried on by everyone on the team, the good thing is you know that you are getting the right size. The bad thing is you have no idea if you are going to be getting anything else.

buying used lyrca shorts is like having sex with your next of kin. it's generally frowned upon in the civilized world.

I would not, however, any of us who have competed in organized sports has more than likely had to wear over used uniforms. The answer is still no...

Used shorts? No. I got some used socks one time, and they were pretty good after I washed the blood out.

Not only would I not BUY used shorts, I'd have to be in desperate financial straits (like jonesin' for crack) before I would consider SELLING used shorts. But hey, everybody has different standards...

Oh come on you bunch of candy butts!!!! I'm wearing used underwear right now,got it at a yard sale about six months ago. As far as the bike shorts,if a roadie had worn them then no. I would be afraid my boys might shrivel up and fall off. I may post a pic of my used undies later.

There's really no rational reason not to buy them, clean them properly (strong detergent, multiple washing, dry cleaning, whatever) and wear them. The only reason not to do so, is that it seems distasteful, and makes one squeamish to think of what might have happened in them in the past.

Having said that, I personally wouldn't do it...I know it's not rational, but I would feel icky putting them on.
