Handlebar Length

I was curious as to what length everyone runs their handlebars and why. Currently I'm running my handlebars at 24.5" since I use the bike primarily for urban, dj, and occasionally freeriding. Mine are cut pretty short since I ride a short bike and this just makes it a bit easier for me to throw x-ups and the like.

I have my Easton bars uncut at 26 inches. This is due to my having wide shoulders and long arms, and I prefer the slower steering. Just feels right to me.

I use Easton 26" risers on my XC/switchback bikes, and Easton 23" flat bars on my XC race bikes.

I run 27" on my singlespeed for the leverage, probably going to run 25" on my geared XC bike, and I think I have a 25 or 26 on my urban/fr bike.

I used to run 25" on my old XC bike, but I would get the ends caught in the tight trees. I switched to 23" on my current XC, and it's much better. My daily driver has 22" and is a handful to handle. No pun intended. It's very quick on the road. The narrowest I've ever seen was on a courier's bike: gold Answer Hyperlites cut down to 16". Thatz nutz!
