Well i know u guys going to call me a lame person for owning a RST Capa T4. But what to say, it came with my bike and buying a new suspension is very expensive in malaysia. A RockShox REBA will costs me RM1000

I have a Trek Bruiser 2 with an Mz-comp that has an 8 inch rotor in the front. No problems at all. I weigh 160 lbs. Did lots of downhill this summer too.

I didn't make the switch to Fox until 2005, Previous to that my fork of choice was the Marzocchi Z1, with a rock shox psylo for a very short time in between them.

Its usually pretty obvious actually. Forks rated "xc" or "trail" forks will not support 8in without some risk. Fr and dh forks, usually good to go, all mountain would be the only confusing ranking, but really I would assume they would be fine. Pre 2002 these rules change a bit as the ratings were different and 20mm and 8in in general were not common. |
