I doubt that you would want to climb with this bike. It looks like it weighs about 36-40 pounds, i ride and Enduro andit weighs 31 pounds, and that is a lot of weight. This is more of a downhill bike.

It is a downhill bike and i certainly wouldn't use it for XC. All mountain.... maybe. If you don't get this, what type of Kona are you looking at?

I was looking at the Stinky. It seems suited for what i ride, all mountain. Here is what i got now, i got it new in APR05. It doesnt look like this anymore, the paint has alot of chips and is some what stained now. Its a shame as it was so so nice for the price i paid. The bike has unreal value and performance, maby i should just keep this one and just replace some parts to keep it fresh. I am also getting to the point of not caring so much about abuse [ chips ETC ] to my bike. Its seen alot of street riding [ hard surface cement drops ] since it was new, and i cant forget the crashes. It just seems to get new marks on it all the time, even if i am riding it or not. I often think somethings bent, as its hard to tell. I meen how can you tell if you damage something. I guess it either works or it doesnt?
