I crashed last saturday with my bike, it happened during a little downhill in Luxembourg!
My bike is o.k, except for the huge scratch on my NEW CRANKSET, GRRR!!! :thumbdn:
After the non - friendly contact with planet Earth, little stars appaered in my visual range and i couldn`t breathe!
But with help from my friends i was able to take my bike and go for a "rest & shower" at the camping.
It was my heaviest crash ever, what`s yours?

man, I know mine, mine has to be when I was speeding down the fire roads in Virginia when my front wheel went into a ditch that I couldn't see, and I flew off, flipping then landing strait on my hip.. sliding id say 15 feet or so tearing up my hip bone, I found out I had broken my hip and fractured my rib, not a friendly crash, it hurt... I was riding on my diamondback mountain bike in 21st gear... I had a helmet on though, oh yeah , stay in school ! OR DROP OUT, BOTH WORK!

Funny you should ask that today. I did and excellent endo today. Pedaling hard in 5th, front wheel hit a muddy ditch, (which I've been through at least a hundred times), but this time it stopped the front wheel dead. Went over the top, hit hard and bounced. Landed on some large roots which really added to the fun. Nothing broken, (I don't think), but I'm swelling even as I type. Not looking forward to tomorrow morning!

Thankfully, I have never hurt myself on my bike, even after my share of endos, skidders and topples.

My favorite to tell is when I tried to ride between two close young trees. I thought I could do it, but my bar ends wedged between the trees. At the point impact, I stepped out of my pedals and over the bars. I landed on my feet. Never again will I be that lucky...or stupid.

hi, new here.

i can't remember my most terrible, but my most recent was last saturday. i was doing an easy ride the day before michaux and was moving pretty fast around a corner. in the trail was a log that had been cut in half months ago to give us a choice between riding it or going around. i usually slow down and ride the thing. i must have been feeling lazy because i didn't feel like hitting the brakes. i decided to try jumping it at about 20mph. i usually don't try to jump things at that height (about 18") while going that fast on a new bike which is a bit too big for me. i got the front wheel and cranks over but just nipped the rear wheel.

my shoulder is still pretty sore.
