Hope Mini's
What do you think of these for XC riding?
I'm 175lbs, ride a Giant XTC, and mainly do single/double track. No downhill.
They seem to be a good weight and price. Anyone have experience with them?

Hey,
I dont know about how they work but one day i was in at the LBS talking to one of the mechs and he was having a hell of a time setting his up, something about the rear inside piston not backing out. They're supposed to work great once they're set. Right now though, i'm looking at the new Magura Martas

I put the Minis on my wife's bike and she loves them. They have great modulation and lots of power. She rides mostly xc but does the ocasional dh and there have been no problems with them. As far as set up, it is simple. It only takes about 5 to 10 min to get them perfect depending on the frame.
They are lighter then other hydro brakes and look better.
If you are not in to much of a hury though, I would suggest looking at the new Shimano XTR hydro brakes. They are going to cost a bundle but from what I have herd they should perform great.
