Cannondale f500 headshok

I like in Barcelona and have some great riding. I usually clim the mountain/hill next to us which is about 1500 high and then on to more from there. Going down is very fast and very steep. My headshok seems to continualy loose air pressure. I love how the bike climes and descends. How much punishment will the fork take on the descents? Is there a headshok that is able to do both climbing and going down well with out loosing air pressure? Any Advice??

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
sorry, its just that if you saw where i live, you might take that comment back
its not mountainous at all.

go to this thread https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...=150380&page=1 if you want to see some pics of the stuff i usually ride.

I have disc brakes on my bike. I used to have AVID BB7's front and back, but i recently bought an Avid Juicy 5 for the front, but i havent tried it out yet. It was -27 degrees celsius with lots of snow this morning, im not riding until april

I am thinking about putting Hope or the Avid Juicy 5 on the rear as my descends are long and some times in need of more brake power than the v brakes can do. How is the new brake system working? I have read good things about the juicy 5s.

i havent tried the Juicy 5's on the trail yet. As far as the BB7's, they were quite good, and super easy to adjust. Some of the decents i was taking were long and steep, and the BB7's didnt have the braking power i wanted. So hopefully the Juicy's will be more powerfull. I cant see any reason to change the rear, so im not going to.

Mine is a medium as well. I am going to leave the v brakes on the front. Tose shot for the mudy tires are great. We are mostly granit and crush granit here so when it rains it it means we stick to the ground better ,but that mud looks like a blast. If you want Ill email you some photos of our area. Thanks for the help.
see ya
