Nice, I've got one too. Removed reflectors and bell, cut the handlebars down by 25mm each end and added some spd pedals.
Enjoy.

My GF got the exact same bike this weekend. Now we will be able to ride on trails together.

I got a new fork for my Hardrock as well - good times.

Hardrocks are nice bikes. Congrats!

I'm converting mine into a commuter and saving up for a dual suspension all-mountain.

Jeez, whats with all these people on this forum buying the Specialized Hardrock lately? It almost seems like a flu. Does Specialized give free lottery tickets with them or something?

They're just an awesome entry-level MTB that doesn't necessarily feel entry-level. That's why they're popular I think

They're just a good bike for the cash. My son trail rides, street and races XC on his.Not everyone can afford high end bikes. It's great that everyone can get out and ride on a decent bike.

I don't think hardrocks are better or worse than other bikes at similar prices, but they are talked up on this forum so much i guess people just have "hardrock" drilled into thier heads.
