Anyone ever tried I-drive?
I've just heard a little bit about it, so I was kinda curious, how does it work and how well does it work? Does it feel really funny when you're riding rough terrain or do you get used to it real fast?

The I-Drive is a moving cocentric bottom bracket that has an attached link (dog bone) that is part of the rear suspension. As the rear end cycles through it's travel, the bottom bracket swings in the concentric arc around the large bb shell.
The suspension action is smooth, and something you get used to in no time. I just think that there are a lot of small moving parts that can break and the bb is prone to collecting mud and other debris. This design is not one of the lightest, but definately one of the smoothest. The I-drive continually gets great reviews.
IMO, I wouldn't buy one, but would love it if you gave it to me!

I did have a chance to play on one. I do second a2's opinion. too many parts makes it too much to break. But when setup correctly there is no bob.
