Nothing fancy. One of the usual winter spots. The odd bit is that much as I've ridden here, and much as I've ridden with these guys, I'd not ridden with them here before.

Fairly uncrowded. I was there again today, and it was way worse. Gave the skidding is bad/cutting off trail to pass is bad/hikers-horses-uphillers should be given right of way speech to quite a few folks. Grrrrrr........

Edit: oops, this was new years eve, not day. didn't ride the day of. but....got to ride the day before, and the day after.

1. Julie and Eric coming up.
2. Shaine and Long's Peak.
3. Shaine.
4. Julie.
5. Shaine.
6. Myself. Photo credit to Julie.

11. Another Long's Peak shot.

it's a standard on that ride. so long as no one is sitting on it, or hanging all over it, i'll hit it up.

That rock face looks like fun to climb over on the bike.

several parts of the trail are like this. not really on trail, not really off either. solid rock, dumps you right back onto the main trail.

much of this particular trail is that way. sandy decomposing granite. more rock gets exposed every winter, seemingly. and by the @sshats that skid all over the trail, go wide and cut corners, or pass off trail. grrrrrrrrr! i like the rock technicality, but having idiots making the wide in spots trail even wider is very irritating.
