Thanks to his BMX lineage and progressive stunts such as the Superman seat grab and 360° drops, Specialized Factory rider Darren Berrecloth was selected to be one of the first athletes to be featured on the Discovery Channel’s new series, Stunt Junkies. Each 30-minute episode of Stunt Junkies takes viewers behind the scenes of an unimaginable stunt, for a close look at what it’s like to push the limits of personal expression and defy danger.

The full story

Here's hoping they devote lots of time to the bike design / manufacturing...that Demo 8 is tasty.

Look for Darren’s episode of Stunt Junkies to appear February 1, 2006 at 10:00PM on the Discovery Channel (discoverychannel.com).

So, who's going to remember to bump this thread at the end of the month? Cause I'm gonna forget to watch, otherwise...

I can't remember if we have Discovery Channel or not... we just got this new "pack" of channels, haven't explored them yet. I've always loved Discovery though and with Darren riding in one of the programs... it's gonna rock.

This month they are doing the show with George Hincapie. It was a great show so I'm sure they will do just as well with Barrecloth. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
