Well the majority of my return will go straight to my savings account. However I will take a few bucks of it to buy some new tires. I need to place an order with Kenda (team sponsor) for about 12 - 16 tires to get me through the season.

I'm getting some back, but no plans for it - don't really need anything. We'll be moving back to VA this summer and will likely be using it for some moving expenses etc.

If I was, I'd get a new repair stand and some new riding clothes...I'm pretty happy with the bike right now.

Not even thinking about the refund yet.....but we are set to recieve our final bounus from my old company, as we were just purchased at the end of last year, and I will be picking up the 22.5 inch, 2005 Giant NRS that Performance is holding for me.
Screaming deal, snagged it the day after Christmas on thier blowout sale, 25% down held it.

I haven't run the numbers yet, but I probably won't be getting much back (isn't that the way it's supposed to be?).

I will be getting two new forks and a new wheelset with the money I saved over the past year though.

Yes. I Never understood why people like big refunds. To many H&R block commercials.

Take the money and put it into ROTH IRA's (for you youngen's)or if you don't own your home yet make that a priority.

Snoopz666:
Industry nine DH's will probably go for somewhere in the neighbourhood of $1000 Canadian built for the pair if the dollar stays strong. That is based on their MSRP of 850 USD but like I said it will probably fluctuate. I was talking to those guys and they said if anything their pricing is likely to go UP if demand stays high.

I already have my All Mountain set and they are beautiful. I work at the only dealer in Ontario (www.cycle-solutions.com) but I think I9 said they have one dealer in BC too. If not, we ship!

I'm such a good guy - paying off my wife's new Titus Racer-X. My Cervelo will languish in the confines of Bow Cycle's layaway room.

I did sneak a couple of things in for myself, most notably a new wheel and 180mm crank for my SS MTB. Chicks dig rigid guys.

Employers are required to give employees their W2's by February 1. After that it just depends on how long the individual takes to file.

I filed mine the 17th and should have it in my account by the 27th.
I just bought an F150 4x4 Supercrew truck and ordered one of the Performance truck bed racks at 40% off. The only other thing I want is the FSA carbon 34/50 compact road crank.

I may get a bit back but I am not expecting much, if I get any. My wife has her own business and only pays her personal taxes at the end of the fiscal year so between the two of us, we'll owe. But money is already aside for that so it isn't a big deal.

So basically, not buying anything exciting due to a tax return.

Self-employed and single--getting a refund is wishful thinking for me. I just hope my deductions this year will get be below the taxeable bracket so I won't have to pay in anything. Self-employment tax (social security) on the other hand, always an arm and a leg (and I have an IRA!), so no tax related bike goodies for me.

Yeah... I'm thinking "WRITE-OFF!!!".

I'm putting together all my receipts to write off my riding. It really is good for something besides increasing my fitness level. Yay!
