Ok, before posting your question on brakes in general..

Please check the FAQ. Part 5: Need a brake?

Hopefully it covers everything except how to bleed hydros and how to set brakes up, but those can be found in the user manual that comes with the brakes.

Yes, several threads about brakes lately. A lot of redundancy, for sure. However, if everyone that came here just read the FAQ's, or did a search, wouldn't it be a bit boring?

Nope, because someone will be too lazy to read the FAQ, for someone who posts here for the sake of discussion tends to find repetiveness to be really bad. Besides I didn't mention what brakes one should get, which most of the threads are about, just put what I did in the FAQ so these people asking would have some additional information so it would guide them to making the correct decision.
