The Superlight is a great bike for xc. Just as the name implies it is light. I had a chance to ride one and it was impressive. It handled well, climbed good and decended good. The only complaint is that it has a lot of brake jack when decending and that can unnerve some people. Other then that I would say get it. Just be sure to ride one before you buy.

From what I have heard its a good bike, and has proven to be very reliable, and as the name implies, light. However it is a very old suspension design, and for the money you could probably do better IF you get really hung up on how your suspension works. If a little bob is no big deal, then I would say go for it.

Blur is the best SC. The superlight is awesome too. It's not just numbers, weight or travel. Santa Cruz simply has it's shiznitz together and know how to make a mountian bike.
Fuel is heavy and not nearly as good as the SL or Blur. Besides the fact the SC looks better, handles better, has better suspension.
