He got his good looks from his dad (mtbiker66). I am not sure where he learned to ride. His sister must have helped him out a little. Anyway, aside from having cute, pinchable cheecks, he is a pretty good fellow.

I know I won't make this spring's (would love to) and even though I'm moving to VA this summer, I'll be deployed in the fall so that one's out....crap. I'll shoot for next spring.

I'm trying to get a rough number on how many are going to make it.So far it's me,hambone40,girlscout13 and a bud,gastro,snuff and a friend. Watchman is going to try to make the rides but no camping. Kona and Karldar,you guys gonna make it?? Anyone else? I need to know so I can find the right campsite.

Looks like you'll have to count me out 'til the fall. I'm trying to get a new ride, but might not be able to until May or so. My poor car is fallin' apart, literally.:(

So it's sounding pretty good. We've got eight now!? highrevs and I will probably be able to snag at least one more.

I am so stoked on this trip...now it's just a matter of dropping some of that winter insulation so I can get a climb on and not be exhausted for the downhills.

Karldar, I wish you could make it up, man. You were highrevs' inspiration to rip the front seat out of his car to more easily transport his bike last weekend. :D



<bonus> highrevs can take good pictures, so we will have the opportunity to document the skilled manuevers that mtnbiker66 executes from time to time on the trail.

Hamebone,Girlscout and I were out in Pisgah today riding and talking about it. We're amped as well. I've kinda got the trails mapped out for each day. I'll post them later in more detail.Will you guys get up in time on Fri. to ride a loop?
