OK, here is what I have planned for the riding.
Fri- Caney Bottom ,Daniel Ridge. That will be an afternoon ride. Then we eat!
Sat. Big loop at DuPont ,hitting Burnt Mtn,Slickrock, and more. Then we eat more!
Sun.Maxwell cove /Black Mtn Sycamore cove. Then everyone goes home tiredand happy.
How does this sound to everyone?? Here is another Pic.Hambone on the Slickrock at DuPont.

An one of my favorite pics.Girlscout13 with the blue ridge mtns in the distance.

Well, you don't have to save me a seat this time. Not going to make it, anyway. I'll be there this fall, definitely, tho.

Sounds good to me!

Karldar, that's a bummer, especially with your spiffy new ride and all.

Yeah, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. If things go well, tho, I'll be out that way for several days instead of just a weekend this fall.

April 28-30, I'll be coming back from Spain! Heading over there on the 18th. No riding though!

I am however heading to the same area this summer. yeah, I know it's going to be hot, but we're planning a family reunion during the week of 4th of July.

I'm bringing my bike and those of my crew (3 boys, 1 girl). So, if anyone is available to escort us around, I'd be appeciative.

You know I'll show you all the good spots. Remind me a couple of weeks out.

We found a great camp site. Its 6mi. on the gravel past the fish hatchery close to butter gap. It's a pretty long drive to the top of the mountain. I can find something closer if you guys want but this site gets you way back in it. Some of us checked it out this weekend.

I would prefer the Hampton Inn parking lot because I get easily scared while deep in the forest, but it's whatever you guys want...

Just wondering - is this the same place where there's a race on the 23rd? My son was invited on a road trip to watch the mountain stage of the TDG, and then they're headed over to somewhere near Clemson to race.

No, this is a couple hours north of Clemson. There's really nothing worth riding in Clemson.
