Woooohoooo!!!!
There is going to be new trails built in the area I live in by the state, and they are not going to be the wide gravel type of trail. It's going to be good trail and it is going to be legal to mtb's. It going to be located not too far from Spruce Run(And can very well wind up being the spruce run trails.) Very stoked to hear this man, now potentially 4 good trail systems all within 20 minutes from where I am.

Our legal trails got shut down for us and made more HORSE friendly.
Then we raised 50g's for a DJ and stunt park, which our city promptly spent on roads.

Excellent news. When will they be completed?
Screw Horses. There's no way you can tell me that a horse does less damage to the trail than a bike does. Garbage.
Me and a friend where riding Briones trails out here, and we see two horsers. So we get of our bikes. But I guess he gets off too abrubtly. One horse freeks, rears up, AND FARTS. Then the rider reprimands my friend for not getting off his bike the right way.
How about riding an animal that can handle things you might commonly find on a public trail? Like a donkey or something?

Its not the real life damage a bike can cause that keeps people in power favouring horses. Its the perception that anyone on a bike is a punk and therefore undeserving of the same kind of accomodation.

Good call on that Giant reccomendation in the other thread, btw. a 600 dollar bike probably was overkill given the guy most likely would never see anything worse than a gravel road.

Sweet. It'd be cool to have more trails around, but basically I'd like people to ride the ones we have with..
