Mini Mule

Has anyone had any experience with this? Would it be enough to keep a pump, a couple tubes, and a multi-tool in? Maybe some other stuff too but nothing big.

what do you mean? Do you mean like a container bag thing? Because if your talking about that i would go with a Camelbak im going to get one of those later. The one im getting is $30 and hold 1.5 liters of liquid and hold a littles

Dude a mini mule is a camelbak model and yes you probably could keep a small mini pump, spare tubes, and a mini tool in that pack easily. That is assuming the pack is long enough too fit the length of a minipump.

Yeah, it's a camelbak. The model is the mini-mule. I was just hoping I could save some money rather than going with the regular Mule.

Heres my recomendation. This is what I did, I bought a cheapo brand hydration pack from target. It was around 20 bucks. Throw the water insert away and buy a 20 dollar 100 ounch camelbak insert. My pack literally has tons of room, I mean its a regular size bag, and I get the quality of the camelbak insert. Thats all you need, the pack really doesn't need to be camelbak.

Heres the exact one I have, but I bought it for 15-20 dollars. At least 2 years ago. Even at 30 dollars+ 100 oz camelbak insert it will be 50 dollars.

Ummmm.... dude, the Mini Mule is a kids hydration pack. I got one for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. It fits her perfectly.

Will it not fit an adult? lol I just didn't want to pay for the regular Mule basically. This one seemed big enough for my needs unless it just physically won't fit me.

Pheard 01-27-06 10:45 PM

Well heres an adult size one that is 50 oz for 26 dollars.

another 50 oz which is 40 dollars

70 oz for 40

I mean for 40 you have tons of choices other than the kids model.

Or like I said you can buy any cheap pack from anywhere. and use a 100 oz insert

Ah, well I already ordered it. No big deal, if it really doesn't fit I'll return it. But I wouldn't mind something that size really either. I did read somewhere that it's also good for "small adults" and I'm only 5'6'' so I figured I'd classify under that. Nothing wrong with getting a kid's pack....right? haha

I think the mini Mule is actually bigger than some of the one's at jensonusa you linked too. It has more storage space at least.

Pheard 01-27-06 10:56 PM

First of all why did you ask about the pack if you allready ordered it. Also, if you cared about space you could buy a full size cheapo pack and put a 100 oz insert in it. More water, and more space.

leonardotmnt 01-27-06 11:02 PM

Umm actually I asked about it before I ordered it. Then you said it would work. So I ordered it. Then I was ridiculed for buying it and you gave me packs that were smaller and the same size. No offense but yeah, that's why I asked.

I didn't know you were gunna go and order it off the first comment you received. Anyways, hope your happy with your choice, thats all that matters.

leonardotmnt 01-27-06 11:15 PM

I was looking at things to order and thought it would work. I just figured if someone confirmed it, it'd be fine. Sorry for asking. I won't do it again.. Anyway, if it doesn't work I'll return it and look for myself. Oh well

Really Its hard too tell if what you want will fit. All you can do is judge based on the picture, as long as your mini pump isn't too big it will be fine. No problem with asking, its ok too ask questions.

I was looking at the Mini-Mule for a short friend but I was thinking it was just maybe too small but I found that it's 14 inches long whereas my 05 Mule is 18 so it's not that much smaller really.

leonardotmnt 01-28-06 11:55 AM

Not that it matters but I was actually able to cancel it and I found last year's Mule for $40. Hopefully the place still has it in stock because that'd be great.
