I don't use a dedicated single-speed crank for budget reasons. I run an FSA PowerPro square taper triple. Its a 94BCD with a 34T Salsa unramped chainring. It gets the job done!

i dont want to treadjack ... but my buddy wants to go 1x9 .. and is in the market for a light weight single ring crank.... and when i say light i mean it.. he's a major weight weenie... he'll be putting it on a specialized carbon s works 2006...

so if you can help steer him in the right direction
