E Thirteen Question
Hi all, havent posted here in a while.
Im looking into buying an e. thirteen for my bike. How do I know if it will fit or not? I have stock Hardrock chainrings. Also, I'm only looking to buy the bashguard, not the chain guide version. |
It will fit. What size max chainring are you going to run?
|
If you want to run the bashguard, you have to sacrifice your big ring. Other than that it will work as long as you get the right size (bolt number and BCD)
I like my Supercharger :) |
Thats ok, I never use my big ring anyways. If i took the big ring off, wouold it just be a simple bolt on?

Ok thanks for your help.

Yeah, they come with longer bolts that would replace your old ones. After you you get it all set up, adjust your high limit screw on your FD so it only covers the 2 rings.

Big trouble guys. I took off my big ring and i was replacing the bolts just for now with the stock ones, and i realized, I cant tighten them a lot because i cant gip the reciveing end of the screw. IS tehre a trick to tighten it or do I need a special tool or bike shop?

It started out with 3 rings, and now im at 2. Its close to being tight its just i cant grip the female part of the screw. Would the tool i posted above work to get a grip on it?

Good idea. By the way, is the Supercharger actually as strong as it's advertised; i.e. slides on rock etc.

Thats good to hear. I've grinded so many chainrings Ive lost count. I figured it's time to get a respectable bash guard. Its ok that I have 2 rings left though right?
