Heartland Sports Promotions proudly presents the Dirty Kanza 200. An epic 200 mile marathon event. It will be held on May 20th, 2006. And registration is now open....

Nothing I like better than riding through the flint hills, but for 40$, all they give you is a map. no support, no sags, not even water! I can do that on my own and save the forty for my self sags 
You know to go 200 miles in one day on a mountain bike you will need to average at least 15 miles an hour and keep that pace for 14 hours. that's tough enough, but to do it on a limited hydration supply. I would love to try it for endurance, but they are going to have to at least supply water along the way if they want my money!
