Heckler in the Snow?

Has anybody ridden their santa cruz heckler through the winter? I hear it is a good winter bike cause of the single pivot and anodized frame. Does it hold up well? What fork do you run in the winter?

I had an annodized Santa Cruz Superlight which is pretty much the same bike just not quite as burly. I rode it two winters and never had a problem with it.

Santa Cruz makes great bikes. However, due to the way that they now run their business I will never own another one. They have treated us (the shop) like crap lately and sent us bikes in less than perfect condition.

Yeah, but the scratches have been under the clear coat. On top of that they have billed us for the same frame three times. Then we ordered one and paid with a money order, they sent it C.O.D. We had to argue for 20 minutes or so to get them to find where we had paid. They said we should go ahead and pay for it again then cancel the check and pay the $30 cancellation fee. Then one of their sales reps called us and informed us that they don't need dealers like us. We are "too difficult".
