I'm over in El Dorado Hills (30 mi. other way of Sac), theres a lot of places around here. Auburn has some awesome trails I know (haven't been there yet though). Also, Salmon Falls, right next to EDH has some sweet riding. I'll be on that on Monday. Check out the NorCal forums at mtbr.com . They have a TON of riders from here and gather at different trails on the weekends.

https://www.ogrehut.com/trails.php/Sierra-Central That's a pretty good site of Ogre's from mtbr.com .

How is Rockville? I want to hit it up sometime, not sure when though...

Welcome to the forums!

I used to always do that. Until my feet missed the pedals, my ass missed the seat, and I landed on a tire studded with sheetmetal screws.

Mid-run in an 8-hour-long "endurance downhill' race:

And a couple more race shots:

It was a tiring blast. LeMans start at 8 am. 15-20 minute Super-D-length downhill course to the gondola base, 20-minute ride back up the gondola to (rest and rehydrate), then bomb right back down again. Did 11 'laps.' (4-5 runs is considered a full day's thrashing normally) Winner managed to squeeze in 12. Boy was I pooped- - my legs started to literally lock up from cramping my last run .
