I always ask folks if they need anything.

I even carry tubes in both of my vehicles, and have given them to both roadies and mountain bikers over the years.

Even given your posting history, your inability to fix a tube, and the fact that you walk down the Crack, I still would have offered help. I would have given you some advice about trying to be self-sufficient the next time you ride and to carry extar tubes, etc. so you could help someone if you found them in your helpless position.

Regarding the scrapes, they don't look bad at all in fact they look par for the course for many rides. Suck it up princess. FYI, I've ridden with guys that absolutely rip the Crack on rigid singlespeeds so it's tough to blame your equipment rather than your riding skills...

Hah you sound like pete fagerlin. Anyways, honestly if there was a way to ride the crack with my bike Id love to learn. Until I see someone do it, Im going to have to blame my bike. You can't blame someone like me with little experience too not wish I had a nicer bike, that can handle this terrain and make it easier for my inexperienced arse. Thing is, I love scrapes, right after I got up from falling I was thinking "one more battle wound, sweet". You act like Im complaining that I didn't get help, even though I stated I didn't need any help. My point was I was surprised barely anyone offered to help(meaning offer me a patch or tube).

The only reason I started the thread was to see how many people would claim to help people out. When in reality, how many really would? Also, I just wanted to post my leg picture lol.

Blaming your equipment is a cop out. If you have the skills, you can ride practically anything on any bike. You should take some of the advice that you have been given on this forum to heart. Hook up with some folks that have more experience than you do and learn to ride. Riding with more more experienced folks will make you progress. In the meantime, you can continue to post empty boasts about your riding prowess and folks that know will continue to laugh at you.

For example, here's my wacky friend Alex riding a rigid women's xmart Mongoose (with palstic pedals no less) down South Mountain's infamous Waterfall.

I love how, since the beginning of me posting on this account you allways mask insults with the attempt of trying to be helpful. For some reason you seem to think I act like Im some great biker even though many times Ive openly admitted to being inexperienced, and horrible at repairing anything. Yet, once again you seek to destroy another thread I've made. Honestly, if you are so AmaazinG maybe you should teach me some skills.

heh, nice pic and brave guy.

I agree that you should be able to ride most terrain on almost any bike, it just comes down to practicality and how much suffering you're willing to take.

Your words kid, not mine:

"I gotta laugh when people make that comment about them pointing up. Cuz I know I would own them in a climb."

Like I wrote, if I found you flailing on the side of the trail I would still offer to help you out. That doesn't mean that I would not be laughing at you and your boasting, which you are unable to back up.

Ok theres one instance, which really doesn't imply Im a great biker at all. Just because I think I could own someone in a climb doesn't have anything to do with my biking skills. It has to do with my physical condition. What about all the instances Ive asked for tons of help on simple repairs, all the newbie threads I've made don't those hint that I have few skills on the mountain.? Once again, interested in showing me some skills?

Geeze man, you've been banned on 5+ accounts for a reason. Stop coming back, please.

That's more proof of your confusion.

Climbing isn't all conditioning. Technical climbing takes a good deal of riding skills in addition to fitness.

Even given that, boasting about being more fit than anyone who laughs at your goofy bike setup is just silly.

Sure thing. Watch this video of an eight year old kid riding a rigid single speed with pinner tires and only a rear brake. Note how he lifts the front wheel over technical bits. Note his body position on the rocky descents. Note the hip angulation while cornering. Note the slow speed balancing skills.

Then practice these skills when you ride.

That just further proves my lack of riding skills. Which makes your claim that I act like I'm skilled even more ********.
You should ride with me up montara and SHOW me how its done man. I wanna see you go down the crack on my bike.

Just watched the video. I don't know if your being serious or stupid. Either way your a ****** because I know how to do all that, and I can ride terrain like that. Im talking "the crack" calibur riding. Show me how to do that on an xc rigid or small travel bike.

Very serious. You've proven that you're a very inexperienced rider with a "big mouth" who is particularly clueless about even the most basic riding techniques (braking, for example).

Sigh, you can ride terrain like that yet you (your own words again) repeatedly endo on a small crack on a flat smooth trail. Right.

Watch this video and pay attention to the guy on the red frame. That's how to ride the Crack, Mile, and Boyscout on a small travel frame.

Good luck!

You've proven to be a complete loser who only trolls these forums. You've made multiple accounts, you've been ip banned even, yet you keep coming back. Your a sad little man.

I've seen that clip many times, and I still wonder how you compare that dual suspension bike which exceeds my bikes travel by quite a bit to my bike. I found out the other day the fork im running only gets around 30mm of travel, hardly comparable to that red bike. Not only is the fork stiff and has little travel, but because of my bikes geometry Im very hunched over which leaves me prone to flipping even more. Once again I offer you to show me either physically or in a video someone doing the crack on a bike like mine.

You offered to race me on the trail, you should physically come show me on the trail. Why not?

That's a lie kid. The fact is that whenever some insecure teenager gets their panties bunched they complain and sometimes a fragile overzealous moderator "bans" an account. It's just a matter of 20 seconds to create a new account and continue posting. It's really not that hard to understand if you take a second to think.

Let's recap, shall we?

you:
"Knowing my athletic ability, knowing the fact Im probably alot younger than your trollin a55 I would love to see who can climb better."

me:
I would be happy to meet you at Sanchez School (that's where I usually park, as courtesy to the local homeowners) for a climb up Montara Mountain sometime. Heck, to make it interesting we could add some tech climbing as well by agreeing to climb The Mile.

There are so many choices. I'll let you pick the climb, ok? (just make sure there aren't any teeny weeny cracks in the trail so you don't risk another OTB incident)

What happened to "I would love to see who can climb better."? Was that just another empty boast?

I'm dead serious. Let me know where and when you want to have your climb off and I'll be there, as long as I'm in town. Saturdays aren't so good right now with youth sports conflicts starting up again but any day mid-week or Sunday works for me.

you:
"I will NEVER meet you in real life, because I simply might break my bike over your face, my challenge goes out too the original person I quoted and anyone else. Im definitely not, racing you. EVER."

Lets see- harassment and disruption. Two major rules you break constantly, I can find tons of reasons to validate banning your arse. Since you constantly steer this conversation away from questions Ive made, I think it might be time for you to see my ignore list. My insecurity? our your drunken blindness of the rules and the way you conduct yourself on the forums.

Come show me the crack on the rigid(or on my bike), or don't even bother posting again.

I haven't raced XC in a while but when I did, outside assistance of any kind wasn't allowed. I know they changed the rules to allow for a support area/pit but I still thought it was illegal to accept outside support on the course. That said, I will generally offer assistance to people I see in trouble out on the trails with the exception of a race.

Alrighty Then!

Anyways, back on subject. I will and always will offer someone help. There was a mother with a little girl just riding along on a very hot day (108 degrees) mid afternoon. The mom was standing with her bike, holding the girl (about 13) and rubbing her head really fast. It seems they went out without enough water and the kid was overheating. There was no shade, so I stopped and gave her my water and my snack and stayed with them until mom said she was okay. I made sure that they made it to the streets okay before I took off.

Maybe he should back his words up. He says rigid/small travel bikes can handle the crack. Why doesn't he offer to back that up.

Wait. Is this a thread about helping others?

I sure see a lot of fighting here. Can we please just drop the challenges? Who cares who rides better? Just enjoy the ride! (And please don't fight anymore...) . Please don't ruin this thread.

If you consider people pointing out your cluelessness and inconsistent posts to be "harassment" then so be it. Perhaps you should consider the fact your inane posts just beg to be corrected.

That is SO scary! Just as SCARY as the other times that you have threatened to "ignore" people because they make you feel uncomfortable when they point out the silliness of your posts.

p.s. I haven't steered the conversation away from your questions. In fact, I've answered your questions quite succinctly while you've avoided taking responsibility for your funny claims.

See the video for an instant explanation. As far as showing you in person, which part of "I would be happy to meet you at Sanchez School" or "Let me know where and when you want to have your climb off and I'll be there, as long as I'm in town" are you struggling with?

Let me know when you want to have your little "race" and Crack descent and I'll be there. I can either ride down the Crack on your Trek or if I'm feeling frisky, and my wrists are ready for the beating, I'll trash myself on my cross bike down the crack.

Again, I'm ready to ride. Name the day (s) and time (s) that you're available and I'll tweak my schedule to be there. It's been a while since I made it over to Pacifica. I'm past due.

See above, as well as previous posts wherein I offered to meet you.

Don't forget your chickensh|t response:

Start working on Mommy and Daddy and get them to let you out of the house already!

Let's ride!

Ok what day you want to meet? We'll race to the bottom of the crack and afterwards you can show me how to ride it on a rigid. All the other nonsense your spewing, I will just ignore. No point in me responding to anything else you've said. You'll just bull**** your way out of that to by calling me silly and use what I've said out of context.
