if they ain't talking internal drive, I ain't listnen. I think that internal drive needs to become the mainstream.

Could it stand up to heavy abuse? Take drops? Big jumps? Bad crashes?

Are you talking about internally? Yes they can, on all counts. My buddy rode a roholff for 2 years in whistler/shore riding 4 to 5 days a week. 250 pound guy who did 20 ft drops fairly often. It survived fine.
