I had a sasquatch, I think it was a 99 or a 00 and I broke the frame right by the drop out, I admit I hit two three foot drops at high speeds but I think that the frame should have taken it. Norco did replace the frame with a year old but new norco nitro frame but the tube diameters were all differnet and ended up costing me big $$$ should have just sold the frame.

Norco's seem to be more popular in canada, whereas Specialized and Kona are more popular in the states.

In general Norcos (the duallies) tend to weight more and be a little more awkward. Good bikes, but they are "worth" the price.
The biggest bonus, the frames are DAMN tough

i dont really like thier bikes for some reason. Just the way the look bugs me. And the price of them down here is a little to much for way they are. For example. I dont think that the bigfoor should be $1000. I think it should be closer to $800.

Ah Norco, you've come a long way baby...
I remember them from back in tha day - bad paintjobs, crap components. Then came the 90's, and they stepped up. Now they might not be a household name, but the build and design is solid and they don't look like **** anymore.

I thought the frame was over 7lbs? 6 pound feather -check those skinny steel tubes.
I want one....bad. I missed a local used Minuteman frame for 300 last year.

Glad to see they've gone to tubes and away from the big monocoque on the VPS series. That big hollow seemed to amplify every creak and groan. If your buddy had one, it sounded like you were riding in a herd of old rocking chairs.

I love mine, the only complaint I have is the narrow tire clearance in the rear, but that was fixed the next year. I cant complain at all.
