Stumpy bar swap.. big change of character?

I am curious if any Stumpjumper owners have swapped out the bars and felt a moderate change in the bike's handling. I found they had me lower over the front wheel than I felt should be normal for me. (I have more experience on dirt bikes than MB..and not that much of either if that makes a big difference). Does the racing oriented nature of the Stumpjumper limit it's abilities for feel or fun handling? Thanks, Bob.
