You could probably get a prebuilt wheelset for a little more than you would pay to have these rebuilt. I would just upgrade everything at once.

What rims are you replacing?

Why do you want to replace them?

# Front Hub - ALLOY DISC, 32H # Rear Hub - ALLOY DISC, 32H So i'd say you just have basic ones.

Buy a wheelset. If you buy just rims, you would have to get new spokes, $30/wheel roughly, and either lace them yourself or pay someone to do it.

A rim will be cheaper then buying a wheelset. Yes a wheelset is 'more for your money' if your looking at building up a whole wheel. If you feel you dont need knew hubs then dont bother with a new wheelset, just buy the rims you want and get them fitted.
Call up a few LBS's tommorow (to get a rough idea of general costs) and ask how much it would cost for them to build re-build your wheel/s with a new rim/s. :) |
