what jumps to build
I live in an area with no hills just a forest. The woods by my house have a narrow trail in them that i built a jump in. I am a begginer at mountain biking and only feel confident hitting a 2 foot tall jump with a 1 foot gap that i made. The other jump i made whitch is about 3 and a half feet tall for some reason i get no air on It may be because i am building it wrong. What types of jumps would you guys suggest and do any of you have any pictures of some little fun jumps so i can see them as an example.

i'd say to build it at about a 45 degree angle about 3 feet long and about 1.5 feet high with a little bit of a curve towards the ground....that should give you a bit of air

Whats a kicker and tabletop by definition exactly huh?
Sorry, we go by other names around here (that has to do mainly with the fact we talk Spanish here heh).

a kicker is a jump like i described and a tabletop is a jump where you have the takeoff then there's a flat part then the landing so that if you don't jump far enough you don't get hurt(usually)

Tables are good to start of with. The only problem is that is takes alot more dirt, and more time. But if you have both go for it. And then you can start making some bike gaps.
