Is there a platform adapter for crank bro.s pedals?

i'm looking at getting some candy c's but i need to be able to ride on them with regular shoes also for commuting. does anybody know of any platform adapters compatible with eggbeaters?

if i cant find any, i'm just going to get some spd m520s

I think i was at an LBS one time and they had plastic inserts that fit into it but they looked more for just test riding. You may want to check w/ your local LBS.

i think i might go with the mallets b/c i found some for $55 and i can get some cannondale shoes for $45

yea, they're not suitable for day to day commuting at all.

why not? I did a 50 mile charity ride on my candy SL's, and I still have my feet.

And really, if you are concerned about grip. Put small studs through the wood in key spots for a little extra grip.

Heck if you could build one burly enough you might be able to actually use it as a flat pedal...hmmmmm....hmmmmm...

I don't understand why people are always complaining about wanting a platform with clipless. It adds weight and clipless were meant to be clipless, not platform. It takes me all of a minute to get a hex wrench out and change the pedals on my bike.

i want a platform and clipless pedal b/c im in college and i go riding about twice a week and commute to class 5 days a week. i dont really feel like changing my pedals four times a week every week.
