Enduro '06

Im looking to get a specialized enduro elite '06, but have heard that a number of these have been recalled because of problems with the rear shock. I read that very shortly after their first use, the shock deflates and get stuck in the down position.
Can anyone give me advice on whether to get this bike? Ive narrowed it down to this or the Stuntjumper Comp.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I believe the shock problems you're referring to were with the Progressive 5th Air on the '05 models - the '06 comes with a Fox DHX 4.0*, which shouldn't be a problem.

*in the US, anyway

o6 is fixed, plus Specialized's warranty dept is the tits as it keeps a tremendous inventory of FOX shocks on hand. I'm wavering between the stumpjumper FSR and the enduro. I feel like want something exactly between the two models.
