Titus RacerX or other option for XC racing

I've been racing a hardtail for years and have been pretty happy with it. But now that I'm getting a bit older, I've decided to follow the FS crowd.

I've done a little bit of research and have come up w/ the Titus RacerX, the Epic, and the Blur XC as my top choices. There seems to be alot of Epic and Blur fans on the forum, but not too much is written on the RacerX. From the LBS's and mags, the RacerX seems to be the hot ticket.

I've ridden the Epic and the Blur, but not the RacerX. Can someone who has had some experience w/ the RacerX and the other two mentioned give me some feedback on ride quality. Of the three, the RacerX seems to have a very simple single pivot design, where as the Epic and Blur have a few more links and pivots.

this bike will raced, so I'm looking for a good climber and sprinting bike

thanks

The Racer-X is a Horst-link four bar design (with extra consideration given to stiffness in that far rear pivot, if you listen to the Titus marketing). No, I have never ridden one, so I'm not much more help.

The racer-x is the best full suspention bike I have ever ridden.
Its very light, and a great climber, I have a lockout but wish I hadn't spent the extra to get it. They're also very strong (I've over 250 and have broken many frames). Titus's welds are amazing because they're used to welding TI which is unforgiving. You don't quite realize how light it is until it arrives frame only. When it arroved at my shop (I worked there at the time), even the road geeks were impressed by its weight.
I have a racer-X AL in easton and my dad has an older model using Alcoa AL. The easton is lighter, but the Alcoa is even stronger. My dads bike was a retal in Moab for 2 years before he bought it. Mine was bought new 5 years ago. They're virtually no maintence.
Mine:

They're very cool and have the bonus of being rather rare, so they get a second look.
If you don't like your leg turning black everytime you ride, get a painted one though.
The new ones have taht link taht should make it stiffer, but i've never had any issues with flex and I stress my bike more than most.
Also, one of the only FS bikes I would consider getting used.
There is one weakness, Titus doesn't have a lifetime warranty, though i've never needed it and don't think i ever will. Titus told me they'd replace anything i broke at thier cost, even if it was my fault, which is very cool. they're also a great company to work with.

I'm not much help but would like to say that is one of my dream bikes. When / if I decide to get rid of my Truth I will be looking at the RacerX 100, the RacerX 80, the new Truth and the Turner Nitrous. All excellent xc race frames.
