Best dj/urban/freeride tires

I'm pretty sure i'm getting a set of holly rollers, but is there any other tire similar. The only reason why i'm not getting them right now is that i'm used to 2.7 and 2.5 on my dh rig, and these seem a little on the skinny side (I know they are 2.4 but they are significantly thinner than my 2.5). I like how wid eth ehookworms are, but they don't have enough tread, and standard dh tires wear too fast on pavement (Spend about 30% on street, 30% on dirt jumps and 30% freeride/single track which can be VERY wet and slick)

What tires should I get.

I would go with holly rollers, there are also kenda k-rads but those are even thinner (2.3)

Agreed. I ride with these tires and love them for sure. Next pair of tires I get will be....
another set of Holy Rollers.

If you do street, then you might wanna switch tires. Cuase I find that my mountain tires are heavy on the cement. Like everyone else is saying I would go with the high rollers in you position.

High rollers are the down hill/mud tire arent they? everybody else is asying holly rollers. The high rollers would wear out fast and be very slow on street. (friend has a pair on his bike).

I was also thinking about getting a holly roller rear, and then a more downhill type tire in the front. I want to get a rumble frame, and this would slaken the head angle and make sure I don't wash out in the front on the trails (also, my rear tire always wears faster, so holly roller would take care of that

There is no real tire meant for both. (Atleast I don't think so) I would just switch out the tires each time I do a different kind of riding if it really matters that much.

Yes, maxxis High rollers are the beefy dh tires, BUT I think theres is also a semi slick version that you might wana look at. These come in 2.35 and would be better for your trail riding, but I also herd that people get a lot of pinch flats with these. I would still go with the holly rollers tho.

Oh and these High roller semi slicks are only 14 bucks on jensonusa.com right now too.

I'm used to the 3.0/2.8 tires on my big bike. The Holy Rollers on my P.2 seem just fine.

Hookworms are pretty good (2.5s).

Good tire and pretty good all round. Heck even works well for bsx and dual slalom
