helmets and armor
 

What are some good full face helmets? I don't want to spend too much but somewhere around $150? The fox mx helmets look nice. The mad max 2 also looks solid.

Also what are some good knee/shin guards. The fox look pretty cool. Kinda high priced, or are they a good deal? What pads do you use?

I use Bell helmets....they're pretty nice. The mad max is nice too....
We've got those primes in our shop, for the money they work well....the don't fit me quite as nice as the bells or the giro's but still pretty nice.

For knee/shin pads, six six one makes a pretty good pad, depending on what one you get....they do have some crapy ones to though. I personaly use dainese stuff.....I crashed on it tons of times and have always walked away with no problems!

If I get another helmet, I'll probably get a Giro Mad Max.
I'd love to get a TLD D2, carbon lid.

I also use SIXSIXONE knee/shin pads.

If I had too much money to spend, I get some of the new Fox Raptor's :Raptor's

I don't know how well they work or how comfy they are, but they definately rate high in the coolness factor.

Roach makes some good stuff as well.

I will go with a2. Same stuff as I would get limited. If I had the cash my helmet of choice would be a 661 though :)
