Talked to D'Arcy at Rocky Mountain today
That's right, the HEAD R&D Engineer. Got my Slayer a week or so back and becided to call my inside rep to tell him I love it. Said to also tell him to tell D'Arcy when he sees him around. I hear "Hold on a sec.....RING, RING, Hello this is D'Arcy" Needless to say we shot the ***** for about 20 minutes. What a cool dude, he told me everything that was going on around Rocky and BC. Anyways, talk about a small company, try to call Specialized and get thru to the head of R&D on 2 rings. Ain't gonna happen.:p Now I love my Rocky's even more.

That's good to hear that Rocky is keeping small since they are owned by a huge company out of Quebec. ProCycle. Which is good so Rocky won't go bankrupt again. I never like seeing a Canadian company going under. I'll only ride Canadian bikes. And so should all Canadians.

I phoned them a couple of months ago. I am not sure who I talked to, but I don't think it was Darcy. They are really helpful there.

One thing I noticed this weekend at the NORBA race was smaller companys were the ones with the good setups. Ironhorse had a huge showing with the Honda team and the Monster team that Hill rides for.Yeti, also there in full force. Big companys like Specialized and Giant were hardly there at all. That could be why folks are jazzed on the smaller companys, they know whats important.
