My 2007 Specialized Hardrock Sport

Ok so I think I got the first one from any of the local shops in alabama, so thought I would share.

If anyone wants a pic of a certain part of the bike just tell me and I'll be glad to take it.

Can you show the us the derailleur and slightly closer up of the fork's decal and of course I want to see the seat tube/chainstay/tob tube weld area and the downtube/tob tube weld area as well as the cranks!

Is it me or is this Hardrock's geometry substantially changed from the 2006? Man the stumpjumber-style paintjob looks awesome.

At the LBS, I saw the 2007 early release catalog the other day. I've been debating on a bike for the misses. The 07 Hardrock Sport (woman's) looks way better than the 06. The top tube is curved, instead of straight w/ an extra tube for bracing (i guess).

I<3Mountain Dew, did your LBS get the olive green one as well?

Can we get the early catalog online? How much did you get your 2007 hardrock for?

Their website hasn't been updated yet. The early release catalog only has a few bikes listed, not the whole line up. If memory serves me right, they only listed one or two levels of the Rockhopper and Stumpy. I don't remember seeing a msrp either. If your LBS carries Specialized, ask if you can see their copy.

I didn't know the 2007 Hardrocks would be out so freaking early. Nice ride! Try to avoid cross chaining (small chainring, small sprocket at the back or large chainring, large sprocket at the back) as it stretches the chain and makes it wear faster.

Im not sure which colors they had, they were all still in boxes and had to do some sweet talking just to get them to put this one together and let me buy it.

They gave me copy of the 2007 catalog. I got my bike for 380. None of the shops like to negotiate but I at least got him to give me a good discount on a giro helmet.

Needs To See 07 Rockhopper Plz

i'm getting a rockhopper this week and i wanna see the 07 ones just in case they look tons better. i can't get it out of my head!!

i love the paintjob on your hardrock.. too bad when you upgrade the fork you won't be able to keep the matching design...

It is similar but most noteably has the full Shimano drivetrain.

By the way, the 'army' color scheme available for the Hardrock Sport is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

Hmmm... so in light of this, should I hold off on a purchase of an '06 Stumpjumper Disc? I had planned on buying Thursday. I wouldn't mind if the bike were updated, but I'd hate to miss a price drop on the '06 model if a change is due just 'round the corner.

I'm holding off too! When the 07's come out the 06's will drop... so you might get that RH CD for $600-700 CDN yet!

That colour on the 07 HR looks amazing!!!! Sweet purchase I<3Mountain Dew!!!

Edit... hmmm with the 07's coming out now... the 05's should drop even more - correct? Maybe that 05 RH PD will drop from $650 CDN to $4xx range? One can only wish anyways!
