chain trouble

Hey all

So i'm fixing up this old bianchi that i just got, i wanted to get the chain off and replace it and replace the rear wheel, i get the wheel off fine but then i find the chain is fed around the lower bar on the bikes frame... It goes from the crank between the rear bars on the frame, around the cassette, and then back around the derailler to the crank again. Which means i am stuck as to not so much get it off (i could just break the chain) but how would i get a new chain on? My mountain bike has the chain go under the entire frame bar in the back not around, so all one needs to do is take it off the cassette and crank... not so on the bianchi.

any suggestions?

Get a chain tool and do it that way.

yup. you need a chain breaker. its a good idea to learn how to use one. it can be a useful skill on the trail. the guys at your lbs should be able to show you how to do it.
