Tighter than hell.
Try a Sun Rhynolite and Nokian Extreme 296. I broke a handful of plastic levers getting them on before I resorted to a pry bar. I broke one steel core Soma lever getting them off.

Anybody ever tried OEM Kenda Koyote's? I was ready to buy a good set of tires for my new bike, but they turned out to give plenty of traction, especially where I ride (sandy, dry, southern california) so there they stay until I put a big enough hole through one of them.

I don't think Kenda even has these listed on their website.

I long gave up on replacing tubes. I patch with patch glue, a cut tube and sand paper. Works darn well, and is much cheaper. Haven't had a single patch fail on me at 60psi and riding for over 75 hours on it.
