Great time at Fundy National Park!

Although I didn't get to bring a bike, this park looks amazing for biking. I saw a lot of bikers there. Mostly XC NOOBS

We had a great time. The trails were amazing and plentiful. I got a few pics of a trail we hiked.

We caught tones of brook trout this weekend, and kept about 20 of them. Tossed back a lot.

As we left the camp this morning, we saw a moose, so I decided to show that as well.

Putfile doesn't like linking, as you can see.

If you want, email them to me and I can host them on my webserver.

MOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude,
your pics are making me homesick as hell. Trout, trails, wildlife, trees. These things I miss. I have a stuffed toy moose on my desk to remind me of home. All of my students here in Korea know what a moose is. I actually grew up in the Miramichi but I'm not really proud of it. Pulp mills, bears and Allen Legere. These things I don't miss.
I am now stuck in an urban overpopulated jungle with 49,000,000 in a place the size of NB. You have to make reservations for movie tickets and it can take an hour to drive 5 miles on the Expressway. But, I have tons of really awesome riding almost anywhere I go. Even downtown.

Moose are awsome, it takes a hell of an animal to derail a train.

Now I can see em, cool pics.

WHY DIDNT YOU TAKE YOUR BIKE? Those roots might be a pain the the ass, literally, but it would still be fun.

Hence, I like my full squish

When I was there (pretty sure that it was in '96) I saw no moose, but we did see a very large black bear that the park staff had named 'Earl'.

Earl seemed pretty laid-back, which is always a good thing in large bears.

We decided not to go camping. We couldn't get all the stuff ready, and my brother didn't want to go, so my grand father and I went fishing 45 mins away, and I caught the biggest brook trout of my life. Here's a pic of the huge fish compared to a frozen average size fish we get here, huge difference. Same species.

I laughed pretty damn hard at this reply.
