How do I check/service this suspension?

I recently aquired a Univega Alpina S6.5, and I wanted to find some information about the suspension.

Is anyone familiar with the sort of maintenance that needs to be done with this type of fork?

I'm not really familiar to the older suspension designs, but just by looking at it i can see that it may need basic maintanence on the linkages. I assume that it uses bushings, not bearings. I can't really tell you anymore then that. (i've only been into mountain biking for a few years so my knowledge of older model parts is very limited)
