Biking and camping trip.

This summer's vacation is going to be a mountain biking and camping get away. Just wondering who has done this before and a list of things I need. I am going to Jim Thorpe for about a week to do mostly riding but may do some hiking and white water rafting as a change of pace and recovery days while up there too. Any recommendations are appreciated. I have gone camping before but never with a bike and nothing for more than a couple days, so anything that I need please list. List any thing I will need for camping and for the bike that may be needed. Thanks

In my last issue of one of my bike mags, it had a section on mountain biking and camping - with everything you need to do. Shoot me an email if your interested, I could send you a copy of the article.

Multi-tools (bike and regular) and chainbreaker.
First aid kit
Water bottles/canteen.
A means of purifying water if you are roughing it.
Fire starting gear. Even if you don't think you will have a fire it is good to be prepared.
Cooking gear/mess kit.
Food
Shelter
Sleeping pad and sleeping bag.
Clothing
Map and compass.
Rain gear
Bug spray
Soap, TP etc.

Hope I didn't leave anything out.

What magazine was it? I may have it, I don't remember seeing an article on camping, but I may have passed over it or forgotten about it.
