XT rear derailler
Anyone ever succeded fixing a bent rear shimano xt derailler?
which part of it is bent?
If the hanger is bent, bend it back. Eazy peazy
Yeah, once I got my hanger bent, so that was pretty easy to fix. But this time it seems like the cage is out of alignment. Since I don't have the dork disk anymore, the chain goes past the easiest gear and gets stuck in the wheel.

sounds like you just need to ajust it
You needs to adjust your limit screws. There should be two screws on the back of the derrailler. one has an h next to it one has an L. the control the outer edge of the range. Turn the one marked L clockwise until it stops jumping into your spokes. a small adjustment works wonders.
there is more info here on the subject. |
sounds like the hanger is bent again. Der's don't just un-adjust themselves.
Is it bent from going into the spokes? If so then just adjusting the limit screws isn't going to take care of it.
