Pimpin across the nation in our mini-van...

We leave tomorrow for our spring break trip! Instead of going to Daytona or Panama and getting drunk with all the other jerks, we decided to go for an epic week of riding!! We've leaving tomorrow and heading north to Georgia for a few days, meeting up with one of the members from here to ride in Atlanta, and then heading north after riding lots of stuff in Georgia. We're then gonna head to NC/SC to ride at Tsali and Pisgah, etc. I'm STOKED!! It's gonna be sooooo much fun! We're camping the entire time.. so hopefully it's going to be a great experience I won't soon forget. While some people my age will merely have a drunken blur in some far off Mexican city to remember, I will have fond memories of screaming downhills and some of the best terrain the east coast has to offer. Stereotypical college student? I think not! That's not to say we won't be consuming our share of brewskies, however! We'll just be enjoying them around a campfire after a night of trail riding! Farewell all, and expect videos and picture to come in the future! As always my digital camera will be accompanying me! Enjoy your weekend.... I know I'm going to

There is hope after all. Although you will miss the live version of a "Girls Gone Wild" vid. (Sometimes I miss single life not often but sometimes.) I will be out riding something local that weekend with my girlfriend

Well it was a great day for a ride at the park, we had much less mud and water than I expected after all the rain we have had. Jim, Chris and I had a blast. They are headed off to Ellijay Ga now to meet the mountains. I hope to hook back up with them in North Carolina for some riding on tuesday.

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!

Man... we really had a blast! Black Mountain at Pisgah was INSANE!! It must have been like 5-6 miles of bike-hiking up the mountain, but then once you reach the top and think you can't handle anymore, you get several miles of screaming technical downhill! I was very impressed.. and very tired. We just got in today after riding nearly 100 miles in the last week... I'm pooped! I actually managed to pinch flat a tubeless tire at Pisgah!! Anyway.... I'll have pics up pretty soon... I'm tired, and need to clean all my gear.. so expect them sometime soon.

Thanks to Sam for showing us around the trails and making us feel like weenie girls trying to follow him on the trail

Well.. I think I pinched it because of extremely low pressure. I think I hit a rock really hard, developed a slow leak, and then when the pressure was really low I pinch flatted it. Who knows.

Here are a few teaser pics until I get time to throw all the pictures up on my server. There's nearly 70 of them, so I have to sort them and them put them up.

Hey Jim and Chris, Sam here. I really hoped to make it up to NC but babysitting was not available overnight this week. It looks like the weather was perfect for you and you had a great time.

It was a pleasure to be able to meet up and cruise the horse park trail. I was honestly concerned that you young uns were gonna kill me. That trail is pretty brutal after being lazy all winter.

Hope to see you all again and do some riding. Next time your in the area don't hesitate to give a shout. The shower is open and the spare room can be ready in a moments notice.

Yeah, we missed you Sam! The riding was awesome at Tsali. The weather was pretty chilly though, I think it got down to about 30 or so. Plus there wasn't any water available.. so we couldn't shower for 3 days! But we had a great time just the same. Thanks again for showing us around the horse park.. we had an awesome time. If I'm ever up that way again I'll be sure to give ya a ring and maybe we can ride some.
