Specialized 07 site now up

I gotta give credit to Ant over on the Road Bike side of this forum for just pointing this out...

There's some new models as well as...check out the Stumpjumper Classic!

The crosstrail is an interesting addition. 700c wheels...Sort of a trail version of a Sirrus.

God what has specialized become!!!!

The first thing I looked at is the SX Trail. Well I guess there is no more Enduro SX Trail II any more there is just a 1 and a 3! WTF! Also what are they doing putting avid Juicy 5s with Juicy 7 levers on the SX Trail III, a $4400 bike!! And lets not even get into what the hell they are thinking with thier color schemes, check out the demo 7 frame, WOW!

God ok I guess I'll stop *****ing now, but wtf I use to LOVE Specialized! :cry:

Heh, I've owned a '07 Specialized for two months now. Good to see they finally have my specs up :).

And the SJ classic - HOLY HOTNESS! Mmm.. definitely want to touch.

The site hasn't been working for me. Here's the kind of errors I'm getting.

Can't find bike model -1 .

message=java.lang.Exception: Section 0 not found.

I don't get it, the SJ classic is a nice ride, would be ok for easy/medium trails, road, commuting etc... a nice all around bike. but its ridgid, quill stem, cro mo frame, why is it $1300, aside from the nicer shifters and derailleurs its pretty much the same as my dad's '96 hardrock and '97 streetstomper he got for $10 for both. and for what its worth he's been riding the hardrock for about 2 years with no problems.

edit: case in point:

The SJ classic is essentially a "25th anniversary" stumpjumper. It's the frame that started it all, basically, from what I can tell. I've seen the original SJ and basically it's the original SJ with 2007 components.

And that's why it's hot.
