Cleaning your bike.
I've heard several different ways to clean your bike. I've always just used teh hose, but people keep talking about rust and things like that. I'd just thought I'd ask how you guys go about washing your bikes after those long dirty rides..

I use a hose and a brush on the drivetrain after muddy rides. I also clean off the forks and rear shock. And then just dry and relube. At the beginning of each season I clean and relube everything. (hubs, BB, headset, ect.)

Still kicking.
I really do next to nothing cleaning wise, usually just clean the drivetrain and the fork off.

When I first got it I waxed the frame ( I know its anal ) but now the dirt doesnt stick to it anymore, every 2 or 3 months I plan to wash it with the hose and re wax it. The drivetrain I use simple green with a brush then rinse it with the hose, blow it off with compressed air and then relube. I suppose if you dont have compressed air you could use siu's bouncing thing then let it dry and re-lube it.
