Gary Fisher Cronus

Opinions ??? .... Decent entry level bike??.....Used mostly for bike paths (mups) and some tame trails.....I'll be on the roadie most of the time, but looking at a relatively inexpensive but well made MTB.

I think it's a decent entry level bike. I don't know if I like the riged fork but you can always upgrade. I liked the 2006 model of this bike better. It came with fat slicks that provide a lot of cushioning and comfort to the ride. The new model comes with thinner tires. The components aren't the best but are upgradable. How much discount is your LBS giving you off retail?

Actually it's on e-bay, but visited my lbs today, and decided to stick with him....I can get Specialized hardrock for just a little over what the Gary Fisher will end up going for....Plus I support local and have a place to get fitted properly, adjustments done, etc.....Best option for me I think.
