Snowbasin Ski Resort helmetcam video
Yep, it's summer biking on the ski resort. Take the gondola up... the only way to climb!!!
Anyways, I shot some helmetcam footage last weekend. It's the last open weekend for the summer. Snowbasin is near Ogden, Utah.
It's a little shaky, time for new suspension.
Here's a Hi-res video
https://video.google.com/videoplay?do...30207837993850
and here's a lo-res video for you "slower" bandwidth folk.
https://video.google.com/videoplay?do...34539521311038
Both versions are 4 minutes long. Enjoy.

That will help more than new suspension.

Naw, been doing that for a year now. New suspension needed. I've got a Manitou Mars front fork, only 3 inches.

Work on your form/technique first, before blaming your equipment...

Still kicking.
Sorry, really had to try hard to keep my attention during the clip. Just did not feel it at all. Maybee if the speed was higher, and the filming was smoother, it would have been more enjoyable.

Wow, thanks coach! I didn't know you had such strong personal feelings for my equipment.
I'll go out to the garage and apologize to my front shock, just for you. Although, I don't think my bike will appreciate your patronizing defensive phrases as much as you think.
I'm so ashamed I ever lost faith. I lashed out in vain.

It's your technique instead. Like I wrote previously, it's quite easy to capture faster, smoother video ona rigid bike with teensy-weensy tires, if you know what you're doing.

Lets see some of those butter smooth "ona rigid bike with teensy-weensy tires" videos John Galt. Since you know what you're doing.

I wrote "smoother." There's a difference.
You can check this video out, as an example.
Rigid, 700x27c tires, smoother and faster.

that whole ride must have been a decent decline, I didn't see you pedaling much in that video. Sick that you did singletrack on rigid with skinny tires

That was indeed cool.

to each his own. i'd rather see somebody's new bike stuff than a video of someone riding really slow.
i guess if you saw the tire in the box ... made you look! 8 seconds of your life that you will never get back.

This one is for John. It is not only a pic of bike bits that I recently received, it also happens to be a crappy pic.

I don't need to watch Johns. I have seen most of his posted vids and his style is great.
I actually hadn't realized Utah had a lift assisted park/trail. Is that the only trail or is there some black diamond (arg I hate that term, buts its become universal)...trails?
