if the frame has never been ridden on, have you tried to get your LBS to take it back?

I didnt get it from them. Its kind of a long story so I'll give the short version as I have to go to work. 8 years ago I bought my hardrock from a LBS and they sold me a closeout 21 inch. I never questioned the size of the bike. I just thought the handling was sluggish. I bought a new frame cause I wanted a better bike, put it together almost all the way and realized through alot of reading that maybe it wasnt the right size for me. so now I'm selling it where I got it...on ebay

So why didn't you just opt for SIDI's "Gene Simons/KISS Commemorative" Platform Boots?

I tried that but they kept hurting my pedals when my foot slipped.
